Wow. That is pretty freaky.

My Dad brought on a stingray onto the boat we were fishing from and the tail got him right in the arm. That was nasty. He could have lost the arm but we were lucky and got him to a hospital quickly.



Those things are more dangerous than people realize.

Of course, this is the first I've heard of one jumping out of the water and killing somebody.

Yeah this is a first for me also. I have seen a dolphin knock a guy out of a boat but not a stingray.
