Good, not great.

The performances were good. Lizard looked incredible and real as did Spiderman's travels through the city. I felt I was watching someone actually swing through from building to building unlike watching a video game in the old Spiderman.

Reason why it wasn't great - I kept hearing it is a "darker version" It wasn't, it had the same feel as the Maguire/Raimi version. Highly disappointed about that, but overall a good movie and again as in all superhero movies don't leave once the credits roll.

I was hoping for a huge difference ala Batman Begins vs the 90's Batmans. It's better than the Tobey SpiderMan's, but really not significantly better. Seems more like a part 4 intertwined with a different view on Spidey's origins, better cast, better CGI, and better direction.
