A Lonely Place to Die

Watched this only because I saw the name Melissa George, she's one of the few that can make me do that. It turned out to be a fairly taut thriller with very nice pacing and, for the most part, great cinematography.
The opening scene is just awesome. The movie then sort of builds up from there. I would have liked the character development to have a bit more depth to it, though. I mean, it's there, but you have to really look for it.
Toward the end it becomes a little less "thrilling survival, edge-of-your-seat faire" and a bit more "predictable horror, saw-that-coming tripe". But it's still, all in all, quite a watchable/likable movie. I'd give it a solid 7 out of 10.
Melissa George, as is always the case, brought the goods. She was strong, on point, and believable throughout. And if you read this, TP, she wore spandex the entire movie, bruh. I think you'd enjoy this one, or at least her in it.
