Saw Silent House over the weekend as well, and a big time horror fan, and have to agree it was unique and steered from the usual horror genre.

But in my option I would give it a Grade: C, not liking it, but not hating it as there has been more horrible flicks out there. The camera work was unique and the low budget look gives it even a more creepier aspect. All the jump and tense scenes were there, in the beginning you are into it, then in the end you are like WTF. And not a huge fan of Olsen, but a fan of this genre... she delivers a good performance and really makes you feel for her or feel as if you are right there with her experiencing what's happening.
