Return of the Jedi - 4.5/5

It had been years since I had seen this movie, and upon rewatching(the original theatrical version), I think, while nowhere near the masterpiece The Empire Strikes Back is, ROTJ is better than the original Star Wars, at least to me. Really the only thing that bugs me about the movie is the relative quickness that Han forgives Lando in, but since Lando is so awesome, I can let it slide.

There are so many things that I am shocked still strike me as hard after all these years, Yoda's death, the final confrontation between Luke and Vader, The evil of the Emperor, the rescue of Han Solo, it all still works magnificently.

The light humor works as well, especially against the high stakes of the movie. It's just a real good movie and a very satisfying conclusion the to Star Wars Trilogy.

I also have found I have zero issue with the Ewoks. None.
