Here's the thing about this movie. It is very real. It doesn't have any special effects(not that I could see). No wasted dialogue. No extra sound effects during fights. All as realistic as possible. Which is why I believe Gina Carano was cast because she uses a ton of MMA holds on her foes in this film.

Gina Carano is the main character but more so than her the main character is the camera,look of film, and how it was directed."Huh"? you must be thinking? Watch it and you'll see what I am saying.

Gina is a bad ass chick who you know can hold her own, but because the movie is realistic she isn't perfect. She gets jacked up plenty, she fucks up and slips etc. I liked that.

The film is full of veteran actors with bit roles.

To gauge Gina Carano's acting ability off this film is difficult. She played the part how the director intended her to play it. Bad ass,dry,says little. I can't really imagine her playing the role differently or her not playing this type of role through out her could be acting career. The camera spends much of the film on her face in silence which worked well because as you know, Gina is drop dead gorgeous.

Channing Tatum is the weakest actor in this film. He plays annoyed guy and sleep walks through it because that's what he does in all his roles. I feel he must smoke some weed before each scene.

I don't really have any bad things to say about this film. I didn't love it. I liked it.
