It has been reported on my local news tonight that Bedford County Sheriff Mike Brown has removed Shaq's name and likeness from their Blue Ridge Thunder internet crime unit. Shaq served as a spokesman for the unit, as well as a reserve deputy for Bedford County. Shaq served as a reserve deputy for Bedford County up until last year when he was not able to attend the swearing in ceremony. Shaq's revolver and uniform are still in storage. His revolver will be given to another reserve deputy. No word as yet as to what will happen with the uniform.
