Just remember, it's a story driven game. There will be cutscenes and I'm talking about loooong cutscenes. 
The gameplay is amazing. The sound and graphics are amazing. The story, in my opinion, is amazing.
But, a lot of people get irritated by the cutscenes, especially people who haven't played the previous games and can't really connect to what is happening.
I'd suggest you rent the game, instead of buying it.
