I have been under the impression that I am one of few UFC fans in SP, but hopefully there might be a few more than I expect.
To start off any predictions on who will win Tito vs Shamrock tonight? I personally think the ref will call a stoppage against Shamrock towards the end of the first round to make it 3-0 Tito.

I am a big UFC fan as well! I used to buy UFC dvds from about UFC 48 to UFC 53. I still own UFC's 3 and 4. Royce Gracie was THE MAN! I would love to find the "Best of UFC" dvd somewhere.
As far as Shamrock/Tito, I'd love to see somebody treat Ortiz like a b*tch! Just like Lidell and Cotoure did! I'd hate to see such a legend as Shamrock go down again. This feud is gonna end up in a streetfight somewhere!

Well so much for that, the fight went as expected. Goodbye Shamrock you were a legend.
Tito vs Liddel should be awesome, I think Tito is probably in better shape than he was when he last faced Chuck, that should be something else.

How did Shamrock lose?

He lost by knockout not too far into the first out, Tito mounted him early and started his ground and pound, Ken fought back some of the elbows, but eventually Tito started teeing off and the ref stopped the fight. Unlike last time Ken was down on the ground for a while and there was no controversy about the finish at all. After the fight Ken and Tito buried the hatchet with Ken initiating the whole thing, pretty classy on his part and on Tito's part to finally give him the respect he deserves. In the post match interview he announced his retirement.

I love UFC! Loved it since UFC 1.
I watched the fight tonight and it went exactly as I thought. Shamrock retired on a respectable level as he and Tito finally showed some respect for each other. That was cool to see.
Bring on Liddell vs. Ortiz
I'm also pumped for Hughes vs. St. Pierre. That should be good. Hughes is St. Pierre's only loss, but St. Pierre is very well rounded.

I started following UFC only recently, maybe the last 4 yrs or so, got really tired of the fake nature of wrestling at that time.
The last Hughes vs St.Pierre was pretty good, I think if anybody can beat Hughes it would be St.Pierre right now. But watching him manhandle Gracie and Penn recently its gonna be tough for anyone to stop him.
I am also looking forward to Franklin vs Silva. Franklin has an amazing record 22-1-0, and Silva so far has been breathtaking. He destroyed Leben the last time he fought.

I'm dying to see GSP-Hughes. I'm a huge GSP fan (O CANADA!). I think he's improved greatly since their first fight, and this one should be great. Anyone know when it might be happening?
Also, anybody watching the Ultimate Fighter? I never watched the first three seasons, but I'm into this one because of a) Patrick Cote and b) Shonie Carter and his crazy antics.

St.Pierre should make for a great fight, i think its probably gonna be one of Matt's toughest fight to date. St-Pierre is a better fighter now than he was last time they met.

Hmm I hadn't seen the UFC 63 Hughes/Penn bout till today. Penn was dominating and it was 2-0 Penn going into the 3rd round but Penn was injured in the 3rd giving Matt the edge for the TKO . To think Penn almost had Matt beat .
