I've seen loads of little known bands play locally but big-name bands don't usually play anywhere near where I live and I can't be bothered to travel a long way to see them. My favourites have been: The Black Crowes, Pitchshifter, Cradle of Filth, and best of all, Garbage (Shirley wore a see-through top! ).

Rasputina is really growing on me. I have their Cabin Fever album and have listened to it twice in the last 3 days.

Too many. I taped ticket stubs in a manila folder until I couldn't squeeze in one more.
The two coolest occasions were: 1) The Police in February 1980, at a small club (The Palms) in Milwaukee, and 2) Bob Marley's last U.S. appearance on September 20, 1980 in Pittsburgh at The Stanley Theatre.
I had front row center for each of these.

In addition to the dozens of small and local acts i've seen, here are the well-known bands i've been able to check out: Pantera (best metal shows ever) Machine Head (best band on the planet right now) Los Lobos Metallica Jimmy Page and Robert Plant The Who (Quadrophenia tour, and 'regular' tour) Rage Against The Machine (great live band, but not much interaction with the crowd. Bummer.) Buddy Guy Nicholas Tremulis Orchestra (very, very good) Cesar Rosas Eric Clapton The Mermen The M's The Redwalls

Too many to name, in my long haired heavy metal days I used to go to a gig at least once a week.
But my fave concert was probably when Anthrax, Testament and Megadeth played the same gig
