How about Uploadem.com?
- Upload up to 10 files at once
- Supports .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif
- Max file size: 15 MB!
 
Just a thought; seems like a very fast, reliable host.

They are owned by the same people that run celebutopia, which was hollywoodsbest, which owned an imagehost named something like hwbhost.com. They are very fickle and seem to change domain names every few months or so.

I would like to kindly ask you if I can propose a really great imagehost. It's www.freeimagehosting.net
It's a really good host which I've used on several other forums without any problems. It has a 3mb limit, though you can only load one picture at a time. There's no charge, no number of files limit, and I say again, I've never had any problems with it. Please consider this host for use here. I looked on your rules and I only heard of two of the hosts. Since I never heard of most of the other hosts, I can't trust them.

Even thought it allows a 3 Mb limit, it does not actually store the uncompressed file. It reduces the dimensions and filesize.

Same in this site: compressed to nearly half the size and a lower resolution, the thumbnail takes a long time to load and the link even longer or never at all.
Also its a pretty new site, made in 2006.
The imagehosts we have listed have been tried and tested for a while over here now. You can safely use any of them.

Try using http://www.pixhosting.info:
* Supports .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .swf
* Max file size: 1o MB (20MB for registered users!!!)
* No bandwith / upload limit

Seems like the overlying issue is stability over the long haul (since this forum's archives actually go back years)...even the most stable hosts tend to "lose" images over time if they are not downloaded...Imagevenue is notorious for this.

Yeah, but fileden has a 500mb limit on how many pics you can store with them at any one time. I'll stick with the good imagehosts.

Check out http://xmgimage.com, really nice image host. Would definitely be good add.

It looks not bad, but you have to signup to upload pictures and it is a startup imagehost. So I think it will not be allowed here.

Would that be imagehaven.net? Because when I googled on "imagehaven" it came back with a list of results for imagehaven.net, every last one of them labelled as "This site may harm your computer" with a link indicating that Google has identified the site as one that may install malware on your computer.
Or perhaps you meant imagehaven.com? Which is "under construction".

I deleted some pics of his that were posted there yesterday because it's not an approved host, and told him he could petition to get it added. As for the malware warning, I don't know about that. I'll leave that to the Admins.
