As was previously mentioned, dumpaniage.com changed their TOS recently to remove images after 14 days, well we don't want them in our approved list either.
Instead now the approved list has http://shareavenue.com/ Shareavenue has unlimited bandwidth, unlimited image duration and 15Mb allowed image sizes.
Thats all for now.

Sorry about any confusion, webshots has started compressing images and resizing them even though they don't mention it in the FAQs. Shareavenue stays though.

I am requesting that picture links from my website http://www.starswelove.com [active since Feb 2000] be allowed on the forum. We have hundreds of high resolution pictures and original artwork/wallpapers of celebrities to share. This can be done very easily by copy pasting the BB and UBB code provided alongwith each photo on the website. Visitors also have the option of posting entire galleries in forums. All our thumbnails can be hotlinked. We put up loads of new celebrity scans every week and would love to share them on the forums here. Please consider our request.

People can't upload pictures on starswelove.com, but they can link to pictures already existing on the website. I recently posted some pictures and artwork which were on my server, but they were removed and put up/linked from an imagehosting website. I was requesting permission to allow images from starswelove.com to be allowed on the forums. Is this the right thread to request for that? I did send a similar message to one of the admin guys.

We don't allow people to link pictures from their own forums any longer because it has caused too many problems in the past. Only the approved image hosts, which have been evaluated for reliablity.

I see the unjustified bias against Photobucket is still in effect (based on outdated impressions) so here's the latest blurb from their blog.

I have a propose.
It is PicRun.com. About the requirements:
1. It must be stable with limited or no bandwidth restrictions.
I havn't noticed any downtimes, and the images get unlimited bandwith.
2. It CANNOT have popups or any hint of spyware/adware.
No popups or spyware. Simple uploadforms only.
3. It CANNOT be used for monetary gain or viewership gain (such as imagecash or your own startup imagehost)
It is not that kind of host.
4. It must be freely usable with no registration required to view pics.
No registration, just uploadforms.
5. Thumbnails should link directly to its full size version or the html page containing it. No additional redirecting.
They do.
6. And it must be somewhat popularly used in other sites/forums.
I have seen it in many threads at forum.phun.org, seems like it is getting more and more popular. And I really like it so I thought I could advice you of it.

Some of our individual posts sum up to more than 300 Mb. Looks decent but it is obviously startup. Once it gains more popularity in other forums and has been around a while, we can consider it again.

That is correct. Also those who have posted with shareapic or other "cash hosts" have made bland posts or exaggerated titled posts of old pictures all in an effort to get more views (and hence more money). And it's usually newbies that never even considered posting before.
