This is where you can post an imagehost for us to consider within Rule 5.
We'll take a look and if it is acceptable we may allow it.
1. It must be stable with limited or no bandwidth restrictions.
2. It CANNOT have popups or any hint of spyware/adware.
3. It CANNOT be used for monetary gain or viewership gain (such as imagecash or your own startup imagehost)
4. It must be freely usable with no registration required to view pics.
5. Thumbnails should link directly to its full size version or the html page containing it. No additional redirecting.
6. And it must be somewhat popularly used in other sites/forums.

5) Hotlinking, which is the the linking to an image on someone else's website, is prohibited.
When sharing pictures, use UBB/Forum thumbnail code through any of these ALLOWABLE imagehosts:

* Any member who makes a post not using a host listed above will be notified to use another appropriate source listed and the thread will be locked. If a member continues to use these he/she may be prohibited from posting. Also if we feel the member is using an imagehost as spam, he/she will be warned and may be prohibited from posting. No startup imagehosts are allowed without permission.
The use of the hosts ImageCash, CashMoneyUploads, imagebucks, imagefly, or any other "cash for images" sites are strictly prohibited.
Recommended Video hosts vary but include

www.megaupload.com
www.savefile.com

I have seen mediaupload being used in some places, seems to work reasonably well.

Why is megaupload banned, aside from slow downloads it is good to have a host that keeps a video for a month. A video posted here on one of the others will vanish in three minutes courtesy of the unwashed and unregistered.

I have an account at Photobucket.com, which is free and as far as I know does not do popups or the like. I use this for my avatar and, with permission, any pics I'd submit. Is this OK?

Can someone please tell me why I can't download paintedover pics...all I see is the tumb and nothing happens when I click on it...

I used to be a fan of Mediaupload but not anymore. They've been having lots of problems over the past couple of months. I wouldn't recommend them until they improve.

It could also be because paintedover is having some issues recently. Sometimes you wait a couple of hours and the pics start working again.

photobucket is not good because I've never seen thumbnails. And popular pics get deleted quickly.

I have been checking out picsplace.to, 1.5 Mb limit, only single imageuploads unfortunately, but seems to be working okay and has been stable so far.

I agree been using it a couple of times too, very fast upload. Reliable....(so far, hopefully it stays that way!).

The problem I see with Paintedover is the adult ads it puts on the display pages. AdultFriendFinder is not exactly family oriented.
