I agree. I can't even begin to count how many threads of celebs were deliberately given one star (I saw lots of Rihanna threads and Alicia Keys threads with one star).

I never really looked at the star rating. I got burnt when I first came here, and almost missed a couple of great posts because of it.
Removing the rating system is probably a good move.
