First of all, I want to thank everyone for their kind words in this thread and everyone who has emailed to check up on me. This forum has been a big part of my life for some time now and the friendships I created during this time have helped me get through some bad times and enhanced some of the best times in my life. I will miss this place and everyone in it greatly.
Regarding why I chose to step down and leave, I won’t insult your intelligence and say “personal reasons”. I do have to say I stepped down of my own volition; the owners of the site had nothing to with it and have only treated me with the greatest respect. Let’s just say things didn’t quite work out as I had hoped they would and I decided for my own sake to forego the aggravation.
To my friends, I am sorry I did not take the time to say goodbye to each and every one of you like I should have. But many of you know how to reach me and I do hope that we will stay in touch for the time to come.
To my ex-fellow mods, it has been the greatest pleasure modding with a great set of individuals like you. I know that each and every one of you has always acted in what you have believed is for the best interest of SP; and don’t let a few bad seeds convince you otherwise. In the few days that I was admin, I want to thank all of you for the support you showed me. I tried my best to understand the pov of all of you and hold conversations in an upfront and honest manner. If anything good comes out of this, I hope that will continue in the future.
