It was quite an entertaining game. It was nice of Kobe to finally show up for the Olympics in the 4th Q last night, and Mr. Wade, LeBron & Bosh have all been amazing throughout the games.

I love how every sportscaster under the sun is attributing this teams success to "defense and teamwork", since defense has this mystical power in sportswriting of showing you're a team player, ignoring that this allowed only 5 points fewer on defense but scored almost 20 damn points more.
And that a single elimination tournament does a crappy job of picking out the better of two close competitors, which we'll see more of as international basketball gets better.

Definitely cool that they won the gold. For some reason, I had thought that the USA hadn't won gold since 1992's Dream Team, but they actually last won in 2000 during the Sydney games. I didn't actually see the Gold Medal game, but sounds like it was exciting.
