Ok, Roger Moore was my favorite Bond. Why does nobody agree with me on this?

I hate to say it, but Denise Richards is actually a better actress than alba, and that's not saying a lot. Let's get real for a second, I can't think of a single movie where Alba did a good job of carrying her part other than looking good (and that's not a bad thing at all IMO). IMHO she comes across as kind of one-dimensional and boring most of the time and the only redeeming quality is when they slap her in some skimpy clothes or something.
Sure, Richards was not the "best" bond girl, but she was proficient. I also think Richards did a good job in movies like Undercover brother and Wild Things.
So honestly, while Alba is definately a hottie, I'd have to rate her even lower than Richards on the acting scale. In fact, the only one I've ever seen who was worst was Paris Hilton (yikes!). I just can't see her actually playing a bond girl, especially opposite Daniel Craig, who is a very intense and good actor (maybe if Roger Moore was doing bond again, because those were a bit more slapsticky than the bonds of late, which are definately darker and need actresses with at least some acting chops).
The best bond girls? I'd have to say the short list would be Ursula Andress, Michelle Yeoh, Halle Berry, Maud Adams, and Eva Green (I'm kind of partial for the bond girls that were a little more fiesty and were more bonds "equal" than just eye candy).
It's a matter of opinion, in my mind Richards is far worse than Alba. I consider Alba below average (among famous celebs at least) but imo there are many other pretty faces just as bad or worse

If one of the worst actresses in history can be in a bond film, she can too. i.e. Madonna (she almost ruined the movie)
I think we have yet to see how well Jessica can act. She is a victim of her beauty in some ways.
I think she could do great.

Richards was better than Alba (back in the day).. Richards had the sexiness for a bond girl, Alba doesn't have it.. Yah she looks good in the Fantasic 4 movies, but that's it.. I've seen a lot of her movies and she doesn't sell it. Her beauty is the only thing she has. Latinas have that in a way.

I don't think anyone cares if they can really act. If I want that, I'll go watch a movie with Meryl Streep.
I watch Alba because I want to see her smoking bod and cute face.

Bond girls don't fear to show their bodies. They have topless and ffn scenes in their movies. That is why Jessica Alba will never be a Bond girl.
