While I'm extremely disappointed with Germany's loss, there's no denying that Spain were the better side in the final. Congratulations to them, and good on UEFA for a tournament which, IMO, beat the living crap out of the last couple of World Cups in terms of overall entertainment value.

I have to say that if Germany had won it would have been the wrong result. The German side were very lucky in advancing through the tournament and I was suprised at how little there amazingly talented squad didn't show up for the final. Saying that you could see them stealing a goal late on like they have the ability to do and lifting another cup!!
Spain, along with Holland, were the best two teams when it came to entertaining play so it was nice to see Spain pick up the title.
