I own all 3 seasons on dvd. I got my sister hooked, then my parents, then my friends. The show has something for everyone. The mysteries suck you in, the sarcastic comedy keeps you entertained, and Kristen's superior cuteness keeps you mesmerized. For cult movie fans there are plenty of little jokes embedded in the dialogue (several references to the Big Lebowski, Vaccation, ect.) There is also a nice Kevin Smith cameo in season 2.
Sadly strong feamale characters lose out to slutty rich girls on TV nowadays. I was just depressed when they canned this show. Luckily Heroes saved me.

You can get all 3 seasons really cheap on Amazon.com right now (seasons 1+2 are $14.99 and season 3 is $29.99). Getting all three seasons now would be cheaper than buying one season later on. It's the perfect present!

I love it....I'm almost done with Season 3. I just started watching and had never seen an episode either until about a week and a half ago. Kristen is amazingly cute and Jason Dohring is hilarious. It is my #3 favorite show ever, behind Heroes and LOST. A lot of people say not to watch Season 3 but I disagree I really like S3. Possibly better than the first, not the second though.

Agreed. Nothing with Kristen in it can be bad. The special features on all the seasons are great too. She's a total crack-up. Check out the interview on the season 3 webisodes between Kristen & Chris Lowell(Piz). So damn funny!

To actually quote my previous post (which I can't edit cause it's old)...
Season 3 is so underrated. I really enjoyed it & just loved everything about it. Yes... it had some obvious flaws. But when the season was over... Rob Thomas had you screaming for more. Season 3 was such a breath of fresh air. Seeing Veronica & Company in college was so awesome. Too bad I officially didn't get into watching VM until I finally decided to pop in season 1 (which I had (picked it up @ Target for a whopping $12.99) for like a year before I actually watched it) & season 3 was starting. Then, I got sucked in & immediately picked up season 2 (which thank god was on sale @ Target earlier this year for like $20, which was such a great deal at the time). By the time I was done with season 2, is when I finally got addicted to this show. Unfortunately, I didn't watch any of season 3, accept one episode. But I decided to wait until it came out on DVD. Then the damn f*ckin' news came out that the CW had cancelled it. 
If it weren't for 2 of the best & most addicting shows like "Smallville" & "One Tree Hill", I wouldn't even watch the CW. "Gossip Girl" is surprisingly good, but I have only seen the first 3 episodes. Thank God those bastards at the CW haven't sh*t all over those 3 like they had "Veronica Mars".
But as usual, I am thankful to have been sucked into the wonderful world of "Veronica Mars".
