Ive never been a fan of when chicks lose weight (lohan,duff,bosworth etc....) & I dont endrose it cus it normally leads to eating disorders. But McPhee looks a hundred times hotter than she did on AI.

This is a really weird rationale because you're going by comments in a forum set up to see pictures of beautiful women. 
I voted for Kat because she was the total package, which in my opinion is what the American Idol should be. There were plenty of very beautiful women who didn't make it far in the competition.

Why? When it came down to the final two, he was the better singer/performer. He could entertain a crowd. My opinion but I'm being objective here. I'm talking only about SINGING here since Idol is first and foremost a SINGING competition. Yes, other things have to be taken into account, but you have to have a great (or at least a unique) voice. Or, at least that's what it SHOULD be about. Putting the competition in the hands of the voting public makes for bizarre results at times, especially when you have a lot of teenage girls involved.
