NO HOTLINKING & ALLOWABLE IMAGEHOSTS
Rule 5 as of Sept 10, 2006
picturesupload is dead and so is removed, newly added are dumpanimage.com, 3Mb upload, upto 15 at a time with no bandwidth restrictions, and has been around for many years. Fileden.com, this should serve as a good replacement for picturesupload, 10 Mb size and also allows multiple uploads, works great from what I have seen.
I also want to reiterate the rule about cash for upload imagehosts, imagebucks, imagefly.info and all other similar cash for upload imagehosts are strictly prohibited in SP.
5) Hotlinking, which is the the linking to an image on someone else's website, is prohibited.
When sharing pictures, use UBB/Forum thumbnail code through any of these ALLOWABLE imagehosts:
www.Imageshack.us
www.Imagevenue.com
www.Paintedover.com
www.supload.com
www.putfile.com
www.upqt.com
www.picsplace.to
www.imagethrust.com
www.dumpanimage.com
www.fileden.com ** Handles very large files upto 10 Mb
www.zhare.net Handles very large images 5Mb+
These are the only imagehosts allowed here. To propose an Imagehost, make your case by clicking here.
* Any member who makes a post not using a host listed above will be notified to use another appropriate source listed and the thread will be locked. If a member continues to use these he/she may be prohibited from posting. Also if we feel the member is using an imagehost as spam, he/she will be warned and may be prohibited from posting. No startup imagehosts are allowed without permission.
The use of the hosts ImageCash, CashMoneyUploads, imagebucks, imagefly, or any other "cash for images" sites are strictly prohibited.

No. Just to clarify, we want images in posts on this forum to be available for the greatest length of time possible. In order to accomplish that, the rules we have developed work the best.
